We aim for the highest standards

Quality is never compromised

We source our cast iron products from trusted partners with proven manufacturing capabilities, documented quality systems and a strong understanding of the requirements for continuous cast iron bars. When customers trade with TASSO, we take full responsibility for quality throughout the supply chain — from supplier qualification and order specification to documentation and delivery.

Our quality assurance approach is based on clear specifications, close cooperation with selected partners and systematic control of documentation and test results. Our quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001, supporting a consistent and controlled process from inquiry to final delivery.

With TASSO as supplier, customers benefit from a sourcing setup where quality assurance, traceability and technical follow-up remain under our responsibility. We work proactively with our partners to ensure that supplied materials meet agreed standards, customer requirements and relevant international specifications.

Inspection certificates and traceability
We issue inspection documents according to EN 10204:2004 that declares that the cast iron products are in compliance with the order requirements and supply test results. TASSO uses several procedures to maintain traceability of materials and tests conducted on our products, and various levels of conformance certificates can be found here on our website.

Testing capabilities
When required, for customer projects, technical clarifications or claims, TASSO has the competencies and equipment to verify material properties and support fact-based quality assessment. Our quality assurance department and metallurgist can assist with relevant inspection and testing capabilities when needed, including:
  • Tensile Testing
  • Brinell Hardness Test
  • Microstructure Investigation
  • Chemical Analysis
  • Impact Toughness Test (Charpy Test)

Type 2.2 Test report
We issue Type 2.2 documents of conformity when specified by the customer at the time of order. These documents confirm that the material complies with the order requirements and include the minimum tensile strength values required by the applicable standard.

Type 3.1 Inspection certificate
We issue Type 3.1 inspection certificates when specified by the customer at the time of order. The certificate includes actual test results for the supplied material and has a direct reference to the batch number of the goods. Depending on the applicable standard and material specification, the certificate may include tensile testing results, chemical analysis, microstructure properties and hardness values.
