TASSO to focus on sales, purchasing, warehousing and machining

TASSO has decided to discontinue its cast iron bar production in Odense and focus fully on sales, purchasing, warehousing and machining. The decision follows a thorough assessment of market developments and the company's long-term opportunities to strengthen its position and continue delivering value to customers.

A stronger platform for the future
The competitive conditions for cast iron bar production have changed significantly in recent years. At the same time, TASSO has strengthened its international position through the acquisition of TASSO BERNAREGGI in 2021, providing access to a broader supplier network, an even broader dimension range, increased warehousing capacity and expanded machining capabilities.

These developments create new opportunities to serve customers with greater flexibility and a wider product offering.

Continued focus on quality and delivery reliability
Going forward, TASSO will operate as a trading and service company specialising in sales, purchasing, warehousing and machining. Customers will continue to have access to cast iron bars and related products, supported by the same commitment to quality, reliable delivery and customer service.

For customers, the transition will have only limited practical impact. Instead, the updated business model enables TASSO to respond more flexibly to changing market demands while continuing to build on its long-standing expertise in cast iron solutions.

The change marks an important step in strengthening TASSO's business for the future while maintaining its role as a trusted partner for customers across Europe.
